Vote for a local hero at your football club in the 2018 Grassroots Football Awards

The 2018 Grassroots Football Awards will honour those who work tirelessly at local clubs around Northern Ireland.

If you have a coach, a young volunteer, a supportive mum or anyone who is eligible for the other categories featured, then this is your chance to thank them by nominating them to be recognised for their hard work.

The categories are:

  • The Wes Gregg Coach of the Year
  • Volunteer of the Year
  • Mum of the Year
  • Club of the Year
  • Inclusivity Project of the Year
  • Young Volunteer of the year

The awards are now in their 17th year and recognise the incredible work and commitment of volunteers within grassroots football in Northern Ireland.

In 2017, the ceremony took place at the Guildhall in Derry/Londonderry. More than 180 guests were there to celebrate and recognise the highest ever number of nominations across nine regional and national award categories.

We look to go even further this year and so nominate for your local hero before the deadline of 20 August 2018 CLICK HERE.
