Top two in the league compete for Electric Ireland Cup glory

Glentoran Women will be aiming to stop the treble winning season of Linfield Ladies when the two meet at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park.

The two sides currently sit first and second in the league and it will be Linfield Ladies who come into the game as favourites as they need a point from their final three games to secure the league title.

Kelly Bailie from Glentoran Women is ready to shrug off the pre match tags as they aim to lift the cup, she said: "It's a level playing field for every cup final.

"I think the form we are in going into the cup final so it is all about tomorrow but if we can take that form into the final then we will do well."

However, Jennifer McDade of Linfield Ladies wants to keep the momentum going as they aim for a treble winning season, she said: "We love cup finals and we want to win because we are Linfield and it comes with the name so we aim to win, enjoy the game and hopefully come away with silverware."

The game takes place on Saturday 22 September at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park and tickets are pay on the gate at £5 for adults and £3 for children.
