Irish FA Club & Volunteer Development Plan

Club and Volunteer Development plan

The Irish Football Association is keen to capture the views of clubs and volunteers across the country as we prepare our new Club and Volunteer strategy. We will be holding several consultation meetings with various stakeholders across the country over the next few months.

In 2015 the Irish Football Association launched the Let Them Play strategy. The purpose of the strategy is to provide football for all, no matter their background or ability level. The Irish FA wishes to produce a youth football culture which empowers boys and girls to develop a lifelong love for the game. The strategy is continuously evolving and as part of this we would like to gain the views from clubs and volunteers about how we can support them best moving forward.

Clubs that send four or more volunteers (committee members, coaches and all volunteers within the club) to the consultations will be eligible for a £50 bursary to be used on an:
  • IFA Grassroots Introduction to Coaching Award
  • IFA Level 1 Coaching Award
  • IFA Regional B Licence Part 1

If you are available to attend any of the evenings, please follow the booking link below:
