Manager Barry Gray delighted with 'Mr. Cliftonville' Joe Gormley

Cliftonville beat Loughgall 4-1 at the Oval to earn a place in the Tennent's Irish Cup final alongside Coleraine.

Cliftonville boss Barry Gray was extremely happy with how his side started the game after scoring within the first minute: "It just stops the game. It's the perfect scenario in any game never mind a semi-final.

"It just knocked the sails out of Loughgall and really made us confident going forward to go and get another one or two and we did do that."

His side may have booked their place in the Tennent's Irish Cup final but the manager still wasn't entirely happy: "We came out in the second half knowing we had to just be professional and not do a whole pile.

"We're probably a bit disappointed we conceded the goal to be honest but that's just managers for you."

Coleraine and Cliftonville will now meet in the Tennent’s Irish Cup final at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park on Saturday 5 May.
