Survey seeks insights to boost volunteering within football

The Irish FA’s Young Leaders Programme has launched a survey aimed at gathering information about young people’s volunteering experiences across Northern Ireland.

Responses to the survey will help to shape future workshops within the programme, which is geared towards leaders aged between 16 and 24.

Gavin Nelson, the Irish FA Foundation’s Club and Community Development Officer, is keen to gain insights from young people who are currently actively volunteering as well as those who are not.

Respondents are being asked to provide information on their volunteering experiences and motivations behind why they do or do not volunteer within football.

“The survey responses will be used to help us shape future workshops to support the development of those young people who are currently volunteering and help attract more young people to volunteer within football,” said Gavin.

Young people aged 16-24 can take the survey here.
