Netherlands and Norway up next in FIFA World Cup Qualifiers

The Senior Women have began preparing for their next two tests in their FIFA Women's World Cup qualifying campaign.

They first face the Netherlands in Eindhoven on Friday 6 April before welcoming Norway to Shamrock Park, Portadown on Tuesday 10 April.

The squad, led by Marissa Callaghan, welcomes Crystal Palace Ladies captain Freya Holdaway for her first involvement in a competitive squad after being part of the Turkish Women's Cup campaign in March.

There is also a return for Demi Vance who has earned over 50 caps for Northern Ireland but has returned after a spell in Australia.

Yasmin White, who was part of the squad to play in the UEFA Women's Under 19 Championships, has also been called up into her first senior squad.

Although rain tried to derail their preparations, they wouldn't be hindered as they did a gym session to get ready to face the European Champions on Friday.
