NFS Events and Business Leadership series launched at breakfast event

NFS Events, the arm of the Irish Football Association which promotes the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park as a conference venue and events space, has been officially launched at a major business event in the stadium.

Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and NFS Events teamed up to host a business breakfast which was attended by more than 180 business people, with 94 businesses from across Northern Ireland represented.

Guest speakers included Northern Ireland senior men’s team manager Michael O’Neill, Loudmouth Media managing director Mark Haslam and Paul Murnaghan, regional director of BT Enterprise NI.

The event, hosted by broadcaster Claire McCollum, also marked the start of a three-part Business Leadership series which will be hosted at the stadium this year.

Stephen Garrett, senior commercial manager at the Irish FA, said: “We are delighted to officially launch NFS Events while kickstarting our 2023 Business Leadership series.

“Over the coming months we will aim to engage with and enrich the wider Northern Ireland business community whilst showcasing the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park as a business venue with views like no other.”

Currency risk management specialist Alpha Group has come onboard as partner of the Business Leadership series.

After the business breakfast, Dan Adams, Managing Director – UK Corporate with Alpha Group, said: “Our aim is to provide stimulating events that will appeal to the business community in Northern Ireland. Our first leadership event was very well received and we are confident the two other events in the series will prove to be just as popular and insightful.”

NFS Events offers high quality meeting and event spaces in the stadium, including four large lounges with various capacities to smaller executive boxes. And all of them boast a view of the pitch.

In addition the event spaces offer in-house AV and high speed wi-fi, while parking is complimentary for guests, with accessibility parking also available. Several catering options are available, too.

The event spaces at the stadium can be adapted for everyday business use, from conferences and events to networking and training spaces as well as a venue for gala dinners.

NFS Events also offers an event space with a difference through Irish FA Tours, which incorporates a tour of the stadium along with a visit to the Education and Heritage Centre, which can also be used as an event space.
