Irish FA statement re: sanctions for Cliftonville and Coleraine

Both Cliftonville and Coleraine have been charged and sanctioned by the Irish FA’s Disciplinary Committee for breaches of Article 33.3 of the Irish FA’s Disciplinary Code (spectator misconduct).

The charges relate to this year’s NIFL League Cup final, which was contested by the two teams on Sunday 13 March at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park.

Cliftonville have been fined £1250 for several spectator misconduct incidents during the game. It is the club’s third spectator misconduct charge this season.

And Coleraine have been fined £750 in relation to a number of spectator misconduct incidents during the same fixture. It is the club’s second spectator misconduct charge of the season.
