Maiden City U18s bagged a 3-1 win in the Harry Cavan Youth Cup tie of the round at the weekend.
Goals from Dylan McGavin, Shae Feeney and Ethan Doherty saw off Warrenpoint Town U18s as the north-west outfit progressed to the last four of the competition.
Holders Dungannon Swifts U18s booked their place in the semi-finals thanks to a 3-1 win over Crusaders Colts.
The Swifts’ goals in the Friday night game came courtesy of Tomas Galvin, Eoin Morgan and Padraig Lynch.
The game between Carrick Rangers U18s and Ballinamallard United U18s went all the way to penalties. The tie was locked at 1-1 with United’s Daniel Barker's strike cancelling out Joshua Andrews’ opener. Neither side could find a winning goal and it was Ballinamallard who edged through 5-4 on spot kicks.
Elsewhere Cliftonville Strollers are in the hat for the final four after they defeated Glentoran Colts 2-0.
