Lisburn Rovers Remain Top Of The League

The team extended their lead at the top with four emphatic victories, scoring 23 goals and conceding just five in the process.

They now have a very healthy lead with two more rounds to go in the Partially Sighted Football League. Team Captain and outstanding player on the day Niall Dempsey, who scored all five goals in the 5-0 victory over London Metro, was once again delighted with the team’s performance.

‘Sitting top of the league and unbeaten is a fantastic achievement and all the players deserve great credit for their performances, that’s not to say that we will be resting on our laurels, but we now need to retain that winning habit until the end of the season,’ said Niall.

Lisburn Rovers return to the Futsal Arena on Saturday (28 February) for the penultimate round of league fixtures.

The Lisburn Rovers Visual Impairment Club has weekly sessions at Lisburn Leisureplex:

·          Juniors 7 years-14 years: 10:00am-11:00am

·          Seniors 15 years plus: 11:00am-12:00pm
