Draw made for Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup last eight

The draw for the quarter-finals of the Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup was made at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park today.

Glentoran Women’s defence of the trophy continues as they face a trip to Lisburn Ladies. The Glens will be aiming to stay on course to lift the trophy for a fifth consecutive time.

Ballymena United Women have been drawn to face Cliftonville Ladies, who are currently second in the Sports Direct Women’s Premiership.

Sion Swifts Ladies, 2022 runners-up, face Crusaders Strikers away in the last-eight tie of the round. The Swifts go into this one on the back of a 7-0 win against Mid Ulster Ladies in round two while the Crues bagged a 5-0 win over Bloomfield.

Lisburn Rangers Ladies welcome Derry City Women. Both teams will be battling it out to progress to the semi-finals – one step away from showpiece.

All ties are set to be played Friday 18 August (kick-off: 7.30pm).
