New Northern Ireland kits unveiled

New Northern Ireland home and away kits were unveiled by adidas today.

The shirts will be worn by the senior men’s team during upcoming friendlies and the UEFA Nations League campaign this autumn as well as next year’s qualifiers for FIFA World Cup 2026.

The new home shirt is available now, while the away shirt is available on preorder.

The vivid green home shirt is made from recycled polyester fabric, combining breathable mesh panels and sweat-wicking Aeroready tech for cool comfort.

Adidas explained: “The contrasting strips feature sound wave graphics that pay tribute to the chants around the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park on matchdays, while the crew neckline and short sleeves keep it classic.”

The new home kit is being sold through JD, the Irish Football Association’s exclusive retail partner. It is available in-store and on the JD website from today. Women’s fit and children’s mini kits are due in store by summer.

Northern Ireland’s new away shirt, which is available for pre-order online, is expected to be released on 12 April.

It features a white colourway with ice green accents. It is also made from smooth recycled polyester fabric and has mesh inserts plus Aeroready tech to wick sweat away and keep the wearer cool.

The shirt has a crew neckline, short sleeves and ribbed detailing. Again women’s fit and children’s mini kits are due in store by summer.

The senior men’s team will be wearing the new shirts for the first time when they face Romania and Scotland in international challenge matches on 22 March and 26 March respectively.

The senior women’s team will be wearing the new home shirt when they begin their Women’s Euro 2025 qualifying campaign against Malta on 5 April. That game is being played at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park.

Also available from today are Gazelle Northern Ireland sneakers from adidas Originals that match the new Northern Ireland home shirt.

The vivid green creps are cut from smooth suede in the upper for a lasting wear. They feature a lace fastening with a padded collar for support and a synthetic lining for a snug fit.
