A new Northern Ireland men’s away kit was launched today by adidas.
The kit will be worn for the first time by the senior men’s team during next week’s FIFA World Cup 2026 semi-final play-off against Italy and in the UEFA Nations League this autumn.
And it is available to purchase from JD, the Irish Football Association’s retail partner, both online (jdsports.co.uk) and in-store from today.
Adidas said the cloud white away jersey is punctuated by mint green lines running diagonally across the front – a colour combination adored by Northern Ireland fans in the past.
It explained the new-look Northern Ireland away kit has been “inspired by history, built for now”.
The inspiration from history is the adidas kits worn by Northern Ireland teams at the 1982 and 1986 World Cups.
Adidas said: “The colours and design of this adidas Northern Ireland 26 Away Jersey were born from the unwavering, passionate support for the team they know they can always rely on.
“Sewn onto the chest, an Irish FA badge completes the look, giving you something to reach for when that last-minute winner flies into the net.”
The kit manufacturer said the new away kit is crafted for “those who live for the game” and the 12th person in particular.
It further pointed out: “Designed with a regular fit and featuring sweat-wicking and quick-drying materials, this jersey keeps you cool and comfortable on the pitch.
“The structured heat transfer logos and herringbone tape three stripes add a touch of authenticity. Perfect for the 12th person on the pitch, this jersey is a future classic for passionate fans.”

The number 12 is etched in Roman numerals on the back of each jersey’s neck - in a further tribute to the support provided to the team by those in the stands.
