Just over 30 clubs remain in the fonaCAB Craig Stanfield Junior Cup following Saturday's Third Round ties, including the four finalists from the last two seasons.
Holders Ardmore continued their defence of the trophy with victory over Dervock at Paddy's Park but they had to overcome an early scare to do so.
Keith Robinson fired Dervock in front as early as the fifth minute, with Reece Heggarty doubling the lead for the Coleraine & District Premier League side just two minutes after that!
Ardmore hit back on 18 minutes through Darren Crossan before the 34-year-old levelled with his second of the game ten minutes from the break.
Jack Coyle edged Ardmore in front from the spot early in the second half, and then found the net again just after the hour. Jack Higgins added Ardmore's fifth with 20 minutes remaining, with Daley Powell and a Robinson own goal wrapping the scoring up in the latter stages of the game.
Last season's runners-up, Enniskillen Town United, are also through following a 5-1 defeat of Ballymena Saturday Morning League side All Saints OB at the Showgrounds.
Oisin Connolly, assisted by Connell Lemon, blasted the home side in front on eight minutes but Cathal Beacom stepped up to convert a penalty to level for the visitors midway through the first half.
Beacom struck again on the half-hour mark, with two further goals from Darren Freeman putting the Fermanagh & Western outfit very much in control at the break. Kane Connor then completed the scoring with five minutes to go.
Enniskillen Rangers, winners in 2024, continued their journey with an all-Fermanagh & Western clash with Beragh Swifts at The Ball Range.
Swifts seized the early advantage through Jason Aiken's sixth minute strike but this was cancelled out by Jason Keenan from the spot after half-an-hour.
Stephen Cairns restored Swifts' lead early in the second half but, again, Keenan knocked home the equaliser. Joel Byrne then struck the winner for Rangers on the hour.
Cleary Celtic, losing finalists a couple of seasons ago, also progressed thanks to a 5-1 home win over Carryduff Colts.
Michael Ireland played a huge role in the victory, opening the scoring with barely a minute on the clock, doubling up on 24 minutes and bagging his hat-trick just past the half-hour mark.
Goals from Declan Monaghan and Connaire Harrison either side of a Ronan Lavery consolation for the visitors completed the scoring after the break.
Ireland was one of four players to claim a hat-trick alongside Thomas Craig (Holywood II), James McCabe (FC Antrim) and Stephen McDonald of St. James' Swifts Reserves … but they were all outdone by Clonard's Anthony Meighan who hit four - all in the second half - as the NAFL Division 2C side got past City Colts!
