The Northern Ireland squad for the UEFA European Women’s Under-17 Championship 2026 has been revealed.
Northern Ireland WU17s boss Gail Redmond has chosen a 20-strong panel for the tournament, which is being hosted by the Irish FA next month.
Larne’s Inver Park, The Showgrounds in Coleraine and the Clearer Twist National Stadium at Windsor Park in Belfast will all be hosting matches in the eight-team festival of women’s football in the first half of May.
Northern Ireland are set to come up against England, Norway and Germany in Group A, while Group B features Spain, France, Poland and Finland. All group games are being played in either Larne or Coleraine.
Redmond’s team will begin their quest for WU17 Euros glory against England in Larne next Monday (4 May) at 3pm.
On Thursday 7 May they will face Norway at Coleraine Showgrounds (6pm) and then it’s back to Inver Park in Larne for a game against Germany on Sunday 10 May (3pm).
The top two teams in each group will progress to the semi-finals, which are due to be played at the National Stadium on Thursday 14 May.
The final of WU17 Euro 2026 is pencilled in for Sunday 17 May at the National Stadium (6pm).
The semi-finalists automatically qualify for the 2026 FIFA U17 Women's World Cup in Morocco. The two third-placed teams in groups A and B at WU17 Euro 2026 will play off on 14 May for Europe's fifth berth at that tournament.
Tickets for all the games at the WU17 Euros are available at irishfa.com/wu17euro.
