Tanya Oxtoby is confident her Northern Ireland Women's side can produce the result needed against Bosnia-Herzegovina this evening in Zenica (kick-off 6pm BST) to secure a UEFA Women's Nations League promotion play-off spot.
Northern Ireland go into the game on the back of a difficult defeat to group winners Poland at Seaview on Friday night.
The Poles led by three goals at the break and found the net again very early in the second half, but it was their showing for the remainder of the game that suggested to Oxtoby that her players have what it takes to get over the line tonight.
"As a group we were really disappointed with the first half and to see the group bounce back to put in the second half performance that they did was really pleasing," she said.
"We take that positivity into Tuesday and what's going to be a massive game for us.
"We spoke about starting well, and when you make errors against a team like Poland they're going to punish you. Credit to them, they were brilliant at that tonight, and they're the lessons we need to learn collectively as a group.
"From our point of view we need to make sure we're better in those moments.
"We want to start the game really well on Tuesday, and I've no doubt this group will bounce back because that's what they do.
"Every time we've had a bit of a smack in the face we've certainly bounced back in a really positive way, so I'm looking forward to watching them showing that resilience again on Tuesday.
"We're going there to win. We want to win every game, but we'll focus on us and our performance. It's what we can control, and we'll make sure we give ourselves a 90-minute performance.
"We're excited, we're in a really good position to be in. We'll go there with the pressure on, but we thrive on that. We're looking forward to it," she concluded.
Oxtoby's charges are currently sitting second in League B Group 1 with seven points from five games, three points ahead of tonight's opponents.
Simply avoiding defeat will be enough to earn a play-off against a third placed nation from League A, although if Bosnia-Herzegovina do emerge victorious they would need to do so by two clear goals in order to leapfrog Oxtoby's side.
If that were to happen then Northern Ireland would be thrust into a relegation play-off against a side finishing runners-up in League C.
Northern Ireland and Bosnia-Herzegovina are certainly no strangers to each other. Tonight's clash will be their fourth meeting in just over 12 months, with Northern Ireland very much enjoying the upper hand having won the previous three games.
Most recently, back in February, two late goals from Simone Magill saw Northern Ireland win 3-2 at Inver Park.
Brenna McPartlan opened the scoring after a quarter-of-an-hour with a powerful header from the edge of the six yard box.
Bosnia hit back with two quickfire goals during the opening stages of the second half, and it was lead they held until a minute from the end of normal time when Magill got on the end of a long ball from Ellie Mason to head past the advancing keeper from 12 yards.
The skipper then struck again deep in stoppage time after once more connecting with a Mason ball to find the bottom corner.
Prior to that, in July 2024, second half finishes from Joely Andrews and Lauren Wade saw Northern Ireland sweep to a two-goal victory in Belfast in the UEFA Women's Championship qualifiers, whilst three months before that Wade, Megan Bell and Magill all registered in a strong 3-1 victory at tonight's venue in Zenica.
Tonight's game will be broadcast live on the BBC iPlayer.
