Head coach Danielle McDowell Tuffey has named a 20-player Northern Ireland Women’s Under-16 squad for two international friendly matches against Wales this month.
McDowell Tuffey will be assisted by former Northern Ireland international Julie Nelson for the two games, which will both be staged at Greenisland FC.
Northern Ireland will take on Wales in the opening fixture on Tuesday 15 September, with kick-off at 1pm.
The sides will meet again three days later on Friday 18 September, with the second game kicking off at 11am.
The double-header will provide the squad with another opportunity to gain valuable experience at international level.
