H&J Martin Group, a leading Belfast-based provider of bespoke Fit Out and Facilities Management services, has signed a three-year partnership agreement with the Irish Football Association (Irish FA), becoming its official asset management partner.
This strategic collaboration builds on a decade-long relationship between the two organisations since renovation work at the National Stadium began in 2014/15 and marks a significant step forward in their shared commitment to community development and youth engagement.
As part of the agreement, H&J Martin Group will also become the title partner of the Irish FA Foundation’s award-winning Stay Onside programme which is aimed at young people and young adults to divert and deter them away from offending.
Delivered in both custodial settings—including Maghaberry, Magilligan, and Hydebank Wood—and in community environments, Stay Onside works in partnership with local stakeholders to promote rehabilitation, education, and opportunity.
Founded in 1840, H&J Martin Group has a proud legacy in construction, having contributed to iconic landmarks such as Belfast City Hall, the Grand Opera House, and the Slieve Donard Hotel.
Today, the company continues to make a meaningful impact through delivery of bespoke Fit Out projects and comprehensive Facilities Management across UK and Ireland. It also owns and runs two additional subsidiary companies in Rosewood Bespoke Joinery and Elmwood Protection Services.
The group also operates the H&J Martin Academy, which provides education and career pathways in trades, administration, and higher-level roles. Through the new partnership, participants in the Stay Onside programme will gain access to vocational work experience and potential employment opportunities via the Academy.
Kieron Millar, H&J Martin Group Managing Director, said of the partnership: “We’re incredibly proud of our decade-long partnership with the Irish FA, delivering Facilities Management services. This new chapter, supporting the Stay Onside programme, reflects our core values of trust, respect, and care, and our commitment to making a lasting difference in young people’s lives.”
Mark Dennison, Community Engagement Manager with the Irish FA Foundation, said: “We are delighted to welcome H&J Martin as title partner of our Stay Onside programme. Their support will help us continue using the power of football to positively influence lives and promote lasting change in our communities.”
This partnership marks a significant step forward in both organisations’ shared mission to build stronger, more inclusive communities through sport, education, and opportunity.
