The highly-rated 20-year-old, who found the net 10 times in 46 games whilst on loan at Huddersfield Town last season, scored a superb individual goal just two minutes into the second half to double the Hammer’s lead.

Also on the scoresheet over the weekend was former Linfield forward Shayne Lavery who hit a consolation for Cambridge United in their 3-1 defeat to Cardiff City while another ex-Blues player, Paul Smyth, was on target in QPR’s 2-1 victory over French outfit Toulouse.
Sunderland duo Trai Hume and Daniel Ballard both played the first half for the Black Cats who drew 1-1 away to Sevilla and Conor Bradley was in the Liverpool squad that won 5-0 in a ‘behind close doors friendly against Stoke City.
After spending the season on loan at Leyton Orient last term, Jamie Donley got a taste of first team action with Spurs as a second half substitute in the 2-0 win at Reading.
