The Irish Football Association is saddened to hear of the passing of its former international team physiotherapist George Magill.
George was a respected international team physiotherapist working with the men’s senior team and other age group teams.
He was well known in the domestic game having been a long-serving physio with Glentoran but also having served Ballymena United, Larne, Bangor and Portadown.
An ultimate professional in his role, nothing ever fazed him, and he held the respect of the professional players in his care.
Equally at home with the senior team and youth teams, George was a go-to for many players for diagnosis and treatment.
The Association sends its sincere condolences to George’s family circle at this sad time.
