Tickets are available to join the acclaimed football finance and comedy podcast The Price of Football as it’s recorded live from the Clearer Twist National Stadium at Windsor Park next week.
Hosts Kieran Maguire and Kevin Day will be joined by Irish FA President Conrad Kirkwood at the stadium on Tuesday (7pm kick-off).
Maguire, football’s go-to expert on football finance, said: “Football is a funny business, so Kevin supplies the funny and I do the business side of things looking at the crazy numbers in the game.”
His co-host Kevin Day added: “My all-time footballing hero is George Best so a chance to host the show at the Clearer Twist National Stadium at Windsor Park is fantastic.”
Kieran and Kevin will talk about the football finance landscape in Northern Ireland and worldwide - and present excerpts from their recently published book UNFIT & IMPROPER PERSONS (An Idiot’s Guide to Owning a Football Club) which tells the story of how they start an imaginary football club and take it from the lowest level of the FA pyramid right up to the English Football League, the Premier League and into the heart of Europe.
