Shooting Stars Programme sponsored by Electric Ireland

In light of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, the current Electric Ireland Shooting Stars Sessions have been called off. The health, safety and wellbeing of our participants is paramount and we are taking this precautionary measure with this in mind.

Below you'll find video resources to help develop your child's skills at home.

Thank you,

The Irish FA

What is the Shooting Stars programme?

The Irish FA Shooting Stars programme sponsored by Electric Ireland, looks to create opportunities for girls throughout the country to fall in love with football.

In our first year the focus was on 4-7 year olds and due to the success of this we are now expanding the age range in many of our centres to have an older age group of 8-11 year olds.

By creating participation centres girls will have fantastic facilities to come along to and take part in our fun-filled sessions run by highly qualified coaches in a safe and friendly environment.

The programme aims to help girls learn through play, make new friends while developing the fundamentals for football. It is an exciting new project that can benefit local clubs also through coach mentoring/ volunteering opportunities in this age group.
