The UEFA Disney Playmakers programme, delivered in partnership with the Irish Football Association (IFA), is a fun and engaging football initiative for girls aged 5 to 8 in Northern Ireland. Using the magic of Disney stories and characters, the programme encourages young girls to get active while building confidence, creativity and teamwork in a safe and supportive environment. Our aim is to provide every young girl in Northern Ireland with a positive first experience of football. We’re now working alongside local clubs to bring the Playmakers programme to communities across the country.
We are now inviting your club to join this transformative journey. By expressing your interest to run a UEFA Playmakers centre, you can play a pivotal role in shaping the future of girls’ football. You will receive comprehensive training, support from Irish FA Development Officers and resources to deliver the programme effectively. Let’s work together to create a positive and inclusive environment for girls to discover the joy of football.
