If you missed out on matchday programmes from Northern Ireland’s current UEFA Nations League campaign, you can still purchase them online.
The programmes for the games against Hungary and Georgia sold in record numbers, but copies are still available through the Irish FA’s GAWA Shop, alongside programmes from last year’s World Cup qualifiers against Germany, Slovakia and Luxembourg.
Through its matchday programme covers, the Irish FA is continuing to showcase the work of Northern Ireland-based artists.
Danni Simpson created the three-cover collection for last year’s World Cup qualifying campaign, while Alana McDowell has provided the artwork for the three Nations League B2 programmes this year.
For the current UEFA Nations League campaign, another layer has been added to the concept, with each programme cover shining a light on a different cause.
The Hungary programme focused on Cancer Fund for Children, while the Georgia programme highlighted mental health.

The cover for the upcoming home game against Ukraine on Saturday 14 November will focus on ending violence against women and girls.
Each cover tells its own story while connecting with the others to form one complete piece of artwork.
All profits from programme sales across the three games will be donated towards supporting the three selected causes.
A programme cover fit for an undefeated team...🎨💚🤍 Our second cover by local artist Alana McDowell highlighted Ahead of the Game, the @IrishFA mental health awareness programme, with profits from programme sales supporting the initiative. One final piece lands in November 👀 https://t.co/b7C92HWgm3

Meet the artist
This year’s featured artist, Alana McDowell, is a multidisciplinary artist originally from Gleno, near Larne, who now works between Australia and Northern Ireland.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the artwork, Alana said: “There were three very different causes at the heart of the covers, so I wanted to find a visual idea that could connect them while still allowing each message to have its own voice.
“The Cancer Fund for Children cover was the starting point. From there, I was drawn to the nostalgia and joy that football can create at any age, from childhood memories of collecting football cards to the small, memorable moments that happen around a game.”
She added: “The aim was to create something that felt playful and nostalgic at first glance, but revealed more the longer you looked.”
Supporters can discover more of Alana’s work on Instagram at @alanamcdowell or through her website at alanamcdowell.com.
