Road to Daisy Lodge

For 10 years, Cancer Fund for Children has been the official charity partner of the Irish Football Association, with our football family coming together to support children, young people and families impacted by cancer.

Since the partnership began, the generosity of supporters, staff, players, partners and the wider football community has helped raise more than £176,000.

Now, as we celebrate a decade together, we have one big ambition.

By the end of 2026, we want to take the total raised across our partnership beyond £200,000.

To help us get there, we'll be bringing the Irish FA family together through a series of fundraising events, challenges and special moments throughout the remainder of the year.

Whether you take part in a challenge, attend an event, make a donation or simply help us spread the word, every contribution will help Cancer Fund for Children continue its vital work.

What's coming up?

Northern Ireland v Hungary: Cancer Fund for Children Matchday Takeover

Our September international at the Clearer Twist National Stadium at Windsor Park will feature a special Cancer Fund for Children takeover as Northern Ireland face Hungary.

Supporters will have the opportunity to learn more about the charity's work, celebrate 10 years of our partnership and help us move closer to our fundraising goal.

Road to Daisy Lodge

On Sunday 18 October we're taking on the total distance from the Clearer Twist National Stadium to Cancer Fund for Children's Daisy Lodge in Newcastle, but we're doing things a little differently.

We'll be asking people from across the Irish FA family to help us collectively cover the distance through a total of 120 laps of the pitch at the Clearer Twist National Stadium at Windsor Park.

More details, including how you can get involved, will be announced soon.

And there's more to come...

We'll have more events and fundraising opportunities throughout the rest of 2026 as we continue our push towards the £200,000 milestone.

Keep an eye on this page and Irish FA channels for details.

10 years together. And we're not finished yet.

Our partnership with Cancer Fund for Children has already achieved an incredible amount, but this anniversary is about looking forward as well as celebrating what we've achieved together.

With the support of the GAWA, our staff, players, partners and the entire football family, we're hoping to make our tenth year together our biggest yet.
