The Irish FA Foundation are continuing the development of the Women’s Senior Futsal League at Shankill Leisure Centre, Stranmillis College, Girls' Model and Queen's PEC, Belfast.
The 2019/20 competition is open to any women’s clubs that have players aged 15 or over and teams will be allowed to register up to 20 players.
The league will be organised into two tiers with NIFIL and NIWFA Championship clubs in tier one and NIWFA combined in tier two.
A fixture list, with all games played on Friday evenings, will be determined before the league commences and teams must fulfil all their games to take part in the competition.
League matches will run from Friday 1 November 2019 to Friday 6 December 2019 with a break for Christmas before recommencing from Friday 10 January to Friday 28 February 2020.
Keith Gibson, international women’s futsal manager, will be taking an open session with the international team on Tuesday 8 October 2019, 7-10pm at the Shankill LC to assist clubs with their training sessions.
Entries for the league closed on Friday 27 September 2019 at 12pm.
