Nutty Krust Disability Football Camp takes place in Belfast

Nutty Krust Football Camps continue across Northern Ireland with the Disability Football Camp taking place at Dixon Park in Belfast.

17 children are taking part in the camp which runs from 11-2pm and began on August 15th with the final day on Friday August 19th.

The Irish Football Association and Irwins Bakery were keen to provide the opportunity for kids with a disability to be able to partake in a Nutty Krust camp designed to their needs.

Alan Crooks, the Development Manager for Disability Football explained why putting this camp on is crucial, he said: "Just having a disability specific football camp gives the kids a bit more confidence and self esteem. They are able to mingle and mix with kids of a similar ability so it's good from that perspective.

"And obviously the physical benefits of being involved in 12 hours of football during the week is great."

The camp will next be running during the Halloween break so keep an eye on this website for details to book your child in.
