Meet our virtual mascots for NI v Ukraine

We had a very special team of 11 virtual mascots for tonight's UEFA Women's Euro play-off against Ukraine.

All of our mascots were nominated by friends and family members and they've all been missing football, and some have been finding the going tough during the Covid lockdown.

While they and their families could be with us in person at the match due to COVID-19 restrictions, during the build-up to the game they each received a Northern Ireland home kit and a goodie bag thanking them for their support.

They also featured in our match day programme which is available here.

Our mascots are: Sadie Curran (7) from Portadown, Darcie Nummy (10) from Newry, Micah Curran (9) from Portadown, Heidi Curran (11) from Portadown, Isabel SunMcIlwee (9) from Derry-Londonderry, Joel Scott (11) from Lisburn, Connie Black (12) from Ballymoney, Matilda Collen (8) from Lurgan, Ethan Livingston (9) from Maghaberry, Conor McClements (11) from Greyabbey, Grace Greenhill (9) from Ballyhalbert.
