Tickets are now on sale for the Northern Ireland senior women’s team’s home FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 qualifier against North Macedonia on Monday 29 November (7pm start).
The game is set to be played at Crusaders’ Seaview stadium in Belfast and will be staged four days after Kenny Shiels’ side take on North Macedonia in Skopje.
Northern Ireland currently lie third in European Qualifying Group D following their 2-2 draw with Austria at Seaview last month, while North Macedonia are in fourth place in the six-team group.
The girls in green and white have seven points from four qualifiers - England top the group with 12 from four and Austria have 10 from four - and North Macedonia got off the mark when defeating Latvia 4-1 away last month, which means they have three points from four matches.
Shiels’ side are favourites to win home and away against North Macedonia. Northern Ireland are currently ranked 48th in the world, while North Macedonia sit at 131 in the FIFA Coca-Cola Women’s World Ranking. The Northern Ireland Women boss will, however, be wary of them, especially on their home turf.
Adult tickets for the North Macedonia game at Seaview cost £10 - members of GAWA Official get a 50% discount - and tickets for juniors are £2.
