Limited number of UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 tickets now on sale for NI fans

Starting today (29 October) fans of the Northern Ireland senior women’s team can guarantee their place at UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 matches by purchasing tickets from the Irish FA’s exclusive ticket allocation.

Tickets are expected to sell out quickly for the tournament featuring Europe’s top 16 senior international women’s teams.

Irish FA chief executive Patrick Nelson said: “We are so excited at the prospect of seeing Northern Ireland fans filling the stands to cheer on our team during UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 next summer. Fans should purchase tickets now from our allocation to secure their seat at this historic tournament.”

Tickets are currently available to purchase for those supporters who pre-registered their interest exclusively up to 4 November. After this time, subject to availability, tickets will be made available to purchase to those supporters signed up to the Northern Ireland newsletter.  You can sign up to the newsletter via the Irish FA website.

Once the country-specific allocation is sold out, those who were unable to acquire tickets will be encouraged to apply for them through a Northern Ireland tickets ballot available from 11-18 November.

Through the ballot tickets will be distributed at random, giving all fans a fair chance to see their team compete to be crowned the best in Europe during the tournament taking place across England from 6-31 July next year. Further details on the ballot will follow in due course.

Patrick Nelson added: “We expect tickets to be in high demand. Supporters will have several opportunities to purchase tickets and guarantee their spot at the highly anticipated competition.”
