Beann Mhadaghain travelled from North Belfast to hit four goals without reply past All Saints OB in the fonaCAB Junior Cup Second Round 'tie of the round' at the Ballymena Showgrounds.

The NAFL 2B leaders got off to the perfect start when, as early as the opening minute, Michael Gallagher sent a looping 25-yard effort over the head of stranded Saints keeper Macauley Cairns.

All Saints tried to come back into the game and had a few chances but unfortunately they just couldn’t get that elusive equaliser in what became an end to end battle full of commitment and endeavour from both camps.

The visitors ended the first half as they started it with a second goal moments from the break when Piaras Donaghy beat Cairns to a ball played into the area before calmly slotting home to make it 2-0.

A third followed not long after the restart with 'man of the match' Gallagher doubling his tally with a finish underneath Cairns from inside the six yard box.

Chasing an ever mounting challenge, All Saints began to leave gaps at the back and were duly punished by a fourth goal with 12 minutes remaining when substitute Aidan Gilvary, only on the pitch a couple of minutes, connected with a pass from Gallagher to fire past the advancing Cairns from just inside the area.
