JD Club NI graduate Charlie Allen has signed for Premier League side Leeds United.
Allen, who has represented Northern Ireland and Under 17 level, has penned a three-year deal with the Elland Road outfit.
He joins the newly-promoted side from Danske Bank Premiership champions Linfield for whom he became the Belfast club’s youngest ever debutant at the age of 15.
The 16-year-old, who is from Carrickfergus and will initially link up with Leeds’ Under-18s, was also part of the Northern Ireland U16 Schoolboys’ side which won the Victory Shield in 2018 for only the second time in history.
