WATCH: Northern Ireland's four goal victory over San Marino

Take a trip back to the night the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park officially opened and Northern Ireland celebrated in style with a comprehensive victory over San Marino. 

Saturday 8th October in a Group C World Cup Qualifying match saw Northern Ireland take on San Marino. 

Midway into the first half Northern Ireland were awarded a penalty and it was left to Steven Davis to calmly convert and open the scoring. 

Just after half-time San Marino had a player sent off for a dangerous collision between Palazzi and Northern Ireland number one Michael McGovern.

With just 12 minutes left, the home side struck again as Kyle Lafferty fired across the goal and into the far corner to double Northern Ireland's lead.  

Within six minutes Northern Ireland had extended their lead to 3-0 after Jamie Ward found the net from close range. 

Late in extra time Kyle Lafferty got his second of the game as he tapped home Northern Ireland's fourth and final goal.
