Irish FA extends partnership with iPRO

The Irish Football Association has announced a two-year extension to its partnership with leading healthy hydration brand iPRO.

Through the extended partnership iPRO will continue to serve as the healthy drinks partner of the Irish FA until the end of 2025.

Since the inception of the collaboration in 2019, iPRO has been dedicated to providing healthy hydration to both Northern Ireland’s men’s and women’s international teams. The partnership has been instrumental in ensuring that athletes receive optimal hydration, thereby enhancing their performance on the field.

Stephen Bogle, Head of Commercial Operations at the Irish FA, said: “We are delighted to renew our partnership with iPRO.

“iPRO’s products continue to be an essential part of our squads’ preparations for matchdays and we look forward to continuing to work with the iPRO team.”

In addition to supporting the Northern Ireland international teams, iPRO and the Irish FA joined forces in April 2020 to make a significant contribution to the community by donating 10,000 bottles of water to the Belfast Health Trust during the Covid-19 pandemic. The initiative underscored the shared commitment of both organisations to the wellbeing of the community during challenging times.

Lucy Darrall, Global Partnerships Manager at iPRO, expressed her enthusiasm about the extended partnership.

She said: "We are delighted to continue our partnership with the Irish Football Association. At iPRO we are passionate about promoting healthy hydration and supporting athletes in achieving their peak performance. We look forward to furthering our collaboration with the Irish FA and contributing to the success of the Northern Ireland teams."

Committed to promoting healthy lifestyles, iPRO is well known as the Global Hydration Partner of parkrun and also has strong relationships in healthcare, working with care homes and hospitals to help avoid dehydration in staff and patients.

Players benefit from premium hydration products with only the highest quality ingredients, containing no artificial colours or flavours and naturally sweetened with Stevia. iPRO Hydrate is specifically designed to aid hydration faster than water with the addition of electrolytes and added C and B vitamins for everyday health and wellbeing.

iPRO has also demonstrated its commitment to sustainability by using 30% recycled plastic in its fully recyclable bottles and introducing tethered sports caps - ahead of the 2024 Single-Use Plastics Directive.

The Irish Football Association and iPRO are committed to promoting health, wellbeing and sustainability through their continued partnership, and look forward to achieving greater success together in the years to come.
