Coaches from a number of local clubs including Crumlin, Northend and Ballymena Academy along with coaches from across Northern Ireland completed the course at The Sportshut indoor 3g facility in Cullybackey.
Irish FA Grassroots Development Officer, Wesley Gregg said: “These new courses are now in line with UEFA’S requirements to incorporate the use of IT in the training of modern coaches, which is vitally important to up-skill our coaches at all levels of the game allowing the players to benefit from the contact time with their coach.
“The feedback from candidates was most positive and complimentary on how much more professional the session plans are, utilising the on-line Coach Education Platform Academy Soccer Coach session planners to present for assessment on the final day.”
