Irish FA, Ulster GAA and Ulster Rugby to host Club development webinars

The Irish FA, Ulster GAA and Ulster Rugby will host online webinars delivered under the Department for Communities programme, Sport – A Home for Lifelong Volunteering, focusing on 'Making your Funding Application Stronger'.

The first of three webinars is set to take place next Tuesday (8 Nov) at 7pm, focusing on ‘Clubs Going Green – Creating a More Sustainable Club’.

The workshop will be led by Nichola Hughes from Sustainable NI and will give an overview on why energy efficiency is an urgent matter and how clubs can become greener generally.

On Tuesday 15 November at 7pm, a workshop led by Alex Keery from Ulster Rugby will give an insight on ‘Social Media and PR in your Club’. The event will provide examples from a number of local clubs on how they are engaging with their members and local community through various online platforms.

The third webinar will be delivered on Tuesday 22 November at 7pm on the topic of ‘Building Connections with Your Local Community’. This workshop will give guidance on how to become well connected with your community and how to find a common purpose between the club and partners.

If you have any queries about the webinars please contact Kyle Robinson, the Irish FA Foundation’s Club and Community Development Officer, by e-mailing: kyle.robinson@irishfa.com
