Draw made for round two of Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup

The draw for round two of the 2019 Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup has thrown up some intriguing ties.

Defending champions Glentoran Women face a trip to PSNI Ladies while last year’s beaten finalists Linfield Ladies are also on the road – away to Downpatrick Ladies.

In the tie of the round Lurgan Town Ladies will battle it out with Sion Swifts for a place in the quarter-finals.

Lisburn Ladies welcome Portadown Ladies while Carnmoney Ladies - 7-0 conquerors of Bangor Ladies in round one – travel to Solitude to take on Cliftonville Ladies.

Elsewhere Ballymena United Allstars’ reward for seeing off Mid Ulster Ladies in round one is a home clash against Ballymacash Young Ladies.

Crusaders Strikers make the short journey to St James’ Swifts and Comber Rec Ladies will go head-to-head with Derry City FC Women.

All ties are scheduled to be played on Monday June 3 (kick-offs: 7:30pm).
