Irish FA Tours

The Education and Heritage Centre at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park tells the unique story of Northern Irish football using a varied range of media, immersive physical interactive activities and key artefacts from the 1880s to the present day.

Here, visitors will relive the atmosphere of match day, gain insights into the drama on and off the pitch and feel the rush of emotions shared by everyone inside the stadium, whether their team wins or loses. 

Each visitor, whether schoolchild or grandparent, will leave having understood the achievements of football in Northern Ireland, feeling a sense of pride at our country’s unique contribution to the world sport and having enjoyed a taste of the beautiful game.

General Admission - Adult (16+) = £10.00

General Admission - Child (5-15) = £6.50

Family Pass (2 adults & 2 children) = £30

Concession (Pensioner/Student) = £7.50

Schools = £4 plus Vat per head

The Irish FA Education and Heritage Centre is based within the East Stand of the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park.

From Belfast International Airport (20 miles approx.): follow directions for the M2. Take the exit for A12 (westlink), follow Glenmachan Street onto Boucher Road, continue on Boucher Road and turn left at Olympia Leisure Centre.

From George Best Belfast City Airport (6 miles) approx.): take the A2 to Lagan Bridge/M3. Follow the Lagan Bridge/M3, take A12 to Glenmachan Street, take the exit towards Belfast from the A12. Follow Glenmachan Street onto Boucher Road, continue on Boucher Road and turn left at Olympia Leisure Centre.

From Europa Bus Station (2 miles approx.): From Europa Bus Station: Head east on Glengall St towards Great Victoria St/A1. Take Grosvenor Rd/B38 and A12 to Boucher Rd. Turn left onto Great Victoria St/A1. Turn left onto Grosvenor Rd/B38, Use the left 2 lanes to merge onto A12 via the slip road to M1/Dublin, take the exit towards Belfast. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Glenmachan St and continue straight to stay on Glenmachan St. At the roundabout, continue straight onto Boucher Rd and turn left at Olympia Leisure Centre.

From M1: Follow M1 to Belfast, take exit 1 from M1, follow Glenmachan Street onto Boucher Road, continue on Boucher Road and turn left at Olympia Leisure Centre.

 

Your Ticket will include a 1 hour admission to the Irish FA Education and Heritage Centre and a 1 hour guided tour of the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park.

A pre booking system is in place for admission to Irish FA Tours. You can check available dates in the calendar below. 

Parking is available on site, please enter the stadium via the Boucher Road and turn left at Olympia Leisure Centre.

Visitors should arrive around 15 minutes before the allocated admission time booked and report to the East Stand reception area where they will be directed to the EHC lobby.

A tour of the National Football Stadium involves approximately a 1/2 mile walk. 

An alternative accessible route is available so please advise if your booking has any particular needs that will allow us to best support your visitor experience.

A part of the guided stadium tour is outdoors so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear and come prepared for inclement weather conditions.
