CIS Mini Soccer update
TOP AWARD FOR CIS MINI SOCCER CENTRES
THE children and coaches from the Dungoyne FC and Portadown FC CIS Mini Soccer Centres were delighted to learn recently that their centres were the winners of a top award.
The centres were named as CIS Mini Soccer Centre Award Winners for the month of June.
Each month awards are presented to two centres and, as well as receiving the honour of being named as a monthly award winner, each centre receives 10 balls, a set of CIS bibs and a set of discs.
As part of the IFA’s grassroots programme, the CIS Mini Soccer Centres play a key role in encouraging boys and girls of all abilities to participate in football.
The centres provide fun and informal football coaching based around small-sided games for girls and boys aged between six and 12.
