UEFA ‘B’ LICENCE (PART 2) – LEADING TO UK CC LEVEL IIl
If you have passed your Preliminary IFA Coaching Award prior to the introduction of the UEFA ‘B’ Award then you need to do this upgrade if you wish to take part in the UEFA ‘A’ Part 1 course.
COURSE ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS
Successful completion of UEFA ‘B’ Licence (Part 1) – UK CC Level II
COURSE OUTLINE
Practical assessment
A total of three practical assessments will be taken as follows:-
On a) 9v9 game on ‘Principles of Play’
b) Functional practice
The candidate must achieve a Pass Standard in the three practical assessments.
If the candidate fails to meet the required practical standards he/she will be permitted to have a maximum of two further re-assessments.
Candidates will be charged for re-assessment.
The Governing Body must also be satisfied that the candidate has fulfilled the required minimum of 120 NGLHS (National Guided Learning Hours).
Evidence of this will be displayed by:
1.Maintenance of a log book containing session plans.
2.Courses attended e.g. IFA Seminars, coaching NI curses etc.
3.Accessing other learning materials e.g. On Line Learning
Theory Assessment
Theory of Coaching – Pass Mark 50%
ON ATTAINING THE ABOVE CRITERIA THE CANDIDATE WILL RECEIVE A UEFA ‘B’ LICENCE
Candidates should bring appropriate clothing and footwear for indoor lectures and outdoor practical sessions on grass. Candidates should also bring writing materials.
It is most important that candidates bring with them 2 passport sized photographs and a current First Aid Certificate.
THE FOCUS OF THIS COURSE IS ON PREPARING PLAYERS AND TEAMS FOR YOUTH, AMATEUR AND ADULT LEAGUE TEAMS BELOW SENIOR LEVEL.
