Bailey Peacock-Farrell

Goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell made his senior debut for Northern Ireland as a 21-year-old in May 2018 after a series of impressive performances for his then club Leeds United.

The Darlington-born netminder, whose grandfather hails from Enniskillen, came up through the youth ranks at Leeds United and made his debut for them in a 1-1 Championship draw with QPR at Elland Road in April 2016.

Peacock-Farrell went on to amass a total of 41 first team appearances with United before Premier League outfit Burnley signed him on a four-year deal in the summer of 2019 for a fee of £2.5 million.

In his first two campaigns at Turf Moor he made just eight appearances for the Clarets and was eventually sent out on a season long loan with League One side Sheffield Wednesday in July 2021.

He was a regular first choice keeper during his time at Hillsborough keeping an impressive 17 clean sheets in 47 games for the Owls and helping them to the end of season play-off’s where they lost to Sunderland.

Peacock-Farrell was back-up keeper to Arijanet Muric for the 2022/23 season though he did manage seven clean sheets in 13 appearances when called upon as Burnley regained their Premier League status winning the Championship title by a ten point margin.

During his early years at Leeds United, Peacock-Farrell revealed he had been approached by England to switch his international allegiance, however he turned down the opportunity and is now currently recognised as Northern Ireland’s undisputed number one.

In July 2023, Peacock-Farrell joined Danish side AGF Aarhus on a season-long loan.
