NORTHERN Ireland’s favourite crisp brand Tayto will be keeping Northern Ireland football fans’ hunger at bay by giving them free packets of crisps.
Any supporter who buys or collects a ticket for next Wednesday’s Nationwide International - Northern Ireland v Hungary - from the IFA Headquarters will receive a free packet of Tayto Cheese & Onion - and the first 1,000 supporters entering the stadium on the night will also receive a free packet of Tayto.
Oliver Montels Brand Manager of Tayto said: “We are proud to be working with the IFA, as it has a great fan base in Northern Ireland. We too have always had great support in local communities, and are delighted to be able to offer something unique to local football fans.
“Our top mascot Mr Tayto will be joining Footie at the match to keep the junior fans entertained as well as showing our support for the Northern Ireland team. We wish the players all the best in their 2010 World Cup campaign.”
Geoff Wilson, Head of Marketing and Communications at the IFA added: “This is a great partnership with Tayto, as its brand is synonymous with Northern Ireland. We do still have a number of tickets available for sale, and we hope this promotion will be an extra incentive for fans to buy tickets, and to bring their families to the match. Tickets are priced at £20 and can be purchased by calling into the IFA offices at 20 Windsor Avenue, Belfast or online at www.irishfa.com
“This match is a great opportunity for new fans to come along, enjoy the family atmosphere and of course see a great game of football!”
