THE Irish Football Association is pleased to announce its partnership with advertising agency Ardmore. The Association has teamed up with the Holywood-based company to develop a new brand for the IFA Premiership and IFA Championship.
Ardmorewill design a new logo and creative images for the IFA Premiership and Championship which will appear in the written press, on billboards, bus shelters etc as well as radio, viral, and online activity. The Agency, along with the IFA, will co-manage the marketing campaigns, and will be responsible for driving creative concept and development for the new brand as well as media planning and buying.
IFA Head of Marketing and Communications, Geoff Wilson, is delighted to have such an experienced agency on board to support the new League restructure: “Ardmore is a very established and well connected agency within Northern Ireland with an excellent client base. The agency’s exciting ideas and infectious enthusiasm for football in Northern Ireland was very important in the selection process, and the IFA is greatly looking forward to the many ideas and developments that will be created throughout the coming season for the new Leagues.”
Geoff added: “The IFA and Ardmore have signed off on an exciting marketing plan for the new 2008/09 season, the aim of which will be to increase attendance figures at matches, raise the profile of the players, clubs and Leagues, and attract more sponsors and investment into the local game. This is undoubtedly an exciting time to be involved in football within Northern Ireland, and we’re pleased Ardmore is an agency whose employees are dedicated and passionate football fans who are excited by the game’s great potential, progress and development.”
