REFEREE PROMOTIONAL DVD
The Irish FA have launched a DVD to promote refereeing in N.Ireland. The event took place in the Europa Hotel, Belfast with BBC Sports Commentator Joel Taggart and Premiership referee Mike Riley present.
The DVD shows all elements of refereeing describing how the new recruit completes his initial training, the pathway to the top levels of the game, the importance of fitness, the role of assistant referee, the support offered by the referee observers, and follows the Cup Final officials on the big day.
Referee Development Officer, Alan Snoddy said, “We are delighted with this resource which will provide anyone interested with a positive insight into how refereeing works in N.Ireland”
