Release Date:
The Irish Football Association is seeking to appoint a new member to its Board.
The Board provides leadership by setting the strategic aims, values and standards for the Association.
We are specifically looking to fill a particular gap in knowledge and experience on the Board throughout the construction of the National stadium.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience gained in multi-million pound construction projects. This will include experience of tendering, design and build, public procurement, construction, building services engineering or other related disciplines. It is also a requirement that individuals demonstrate knowledge of the NEC3 form of contract. He/she will have an understanding of corporate governance and an interest in association football.
Board membership is on a voluntary basis, with reimbursement for reasonable out of pocket expenses, and will require a time commitment of approximately 20 days per year. The appointment will be on a temporary basis initially for one year, after which time it will be reviewed.
