AFTER spells with Irish League clubs Institute and Omagh Town, Ryan will finally realise his dream of joining a team across the water when signs for Championship outfit Stoke City in the summer.
The Limavady-born defender, who played for the Northern Ireland Under-16 schools team last year, made a number of first team appearances in the Irish League under Paul Kee at Omagh during 2004/05.
One of Ryan's main strengths is his aerial presence, though he is also a great reader of the game a quality which will no doubt stand him in good stead when he moves to the Brittania Stadium.
