Northern Ireland U15's 3-1 Estonia

Both sides made multiple changes from the first friendly and it was Estonia that started the brighter controlling possession in the early stages.  Northern Ireland however, came into the game and scored the first goal when Ian Maxwell converted from close range.

Northern Ireland controlled the later stages of the half however did not trouble Estonian keeper Nikita Kajalin.

Half Time Northern Ireland 1-0 Estonia

Northern Ireland continued to press in the second half without making any inroads into a solid Estonian defence.  The move of the game came 20 minutes into the half when Northern Ireland broke down the left flank with Niall Owens who provided a pin point cross for Josh Tipping to glace a header into the top corner.

Estonia came back into the game mid way through the second half with a succession of corners and free kicks in dangerous areas.  It was a set piece that provided Estonia with a lifeline when a wide free kick was headed past Northern Ireland keeper Josh Brownlee by Daaniel Maanas.

Both teams pressed for the next goal into the late stages with various substitutions effecting the flow of the game.  Northern Ireland finally finished the game off when sub Leo Brown controlled the ball in the box and chipped the ball over the onrushing keeper into the corner.
