THE Irish FA has chosen Marie Curie Cancer Care as its official charity partner for 2012 and the Association officially launched the partnership with a ‘Wear Yellow To Work’ day.

Staff from the Association’s two offices got involved by decorating the buildings and wearing yellow to work; everyone was also very generous with their donations to the charity.

Irish FA Fundraising Manager, Jenny Penrose, said: “This event was a great way to kick-off our fundraising activities and it was encouraging to see all staff support such a worthwhile cause. This was very much a team effort and there was a fantastic atmosphere in the offices. We look forward to the many fundraising opportunities over the coming months and working alongside the team at Marie Curie Cancer Care.”
