UNDER 19 SQUAD NAMED

THE Northern Ireland U19 boys will take on Switzerland in two friendly matches at the Riada Stadium, Ballymoney on Saturday (kick-off: 7pm) and Monday (kick-off: 1pm).

Manager for the games, Stephen Robinson, has named a 19 man squad.

Stephen Robinson said: “I am very much looking forward to the two games.  With the U21’s playing Serbia and Denmark it has allowed us to name a young squad which provides a great opportunity for the boys to try and book a place in the squad for the European Championships.  Switzerland are a very strong nation at youth level now and are producing a lot of good young players, so it will be a good challenge facing one of the best sides in Europe.”
