NORTHERN Ireland U17 girls finished their short trip to Bulgaria with a 2-1 win over their hosts on Saturday.

Simone Magill scored both goals to follow on from the 1-1 draw between the sides on Thursday.

The girls used the games as preparations for their forthcoming UEFA European Championships qualifying mini-tournament next month which will be held at Seaview and Shamrock Park:-

Saturday 16^th October – v. Republic of Ireland (Shamrock Park, 7:30pm)

Monday 18^th October – v. Czech Republic (Seaview, 1pm)

Thursday 21^st October – v. FYR Macedonia (Shamrock Park, 1:30pm)
